For Dorine Kalombo, fashion has always been a calling. From a young age, she nurtured a deep love for this world, a passion that grew stronger over the years through various experiences.

Her travels across Africa became an endless source of inspiration, offering her a more intimate understanding of the continent’s cultural richness. This sparked in her the desire to create a project that would have a positive impact and celebrate African identity with modernity and elegance. After earning a master’s degree in Luxury Marketing and Communication in Paris, she honed her skills through internships at iconic fashion Houses.

These experiences taught her the importance of precision and attention to detail. Armed with this experience, she launched KAPEENGA, a brand that reflects her values and ambitions. KAPEENGA goes beyond the stereotypes often associated with “Made in Africa,” offering a bold and contemporary vision of African craftsmanship.
